The fun monkey jewelry from The Magic Zoo has been a big hit for the birthdays in our family. We are all a bit quirky, and since the four of us were little kids monkeys have been a big part of our lives. I happen to know that the designer has several new monkey pendants and silver charms coming out later this year, so we are getting geared up around here. So far I have 4 of her monkey necklaces and pendants, one of my sisters has a gold monkey charm, the other one just purchased a pair of silver dangling earrings and my brother was given a monkey keychain for his birthday! Don’t Overpay for High Speed Internet Service

The key to selecting the correct high speed internet service in terms of price, speed and functionality would be in making an educated choice and truly understanding what you are signing up for. One key issue is to select the correct speed quadrant for your particular lifestyle and needs. If you are simply going to use your internet service for e-mail and light surfing, a medium speed connection will suffice. If you plan on doing online shopping, banking, and daily surfing, a speed connection of 1.5 Mbps to 3 Mbps would probably meet your needs. If you plan on getting into video streaming, music downloads, online games, and social networking, you might wish to have a 5 to 6 Mbps speed. Additionally, if you plan on working at home and it requires a lot of information exchange, you may wish to consider a faster speed. Read the rest of this entry »

Looking for Internet Providers in my Area

After making phone calls to several broadband companies, I realized that just because I see something on TV doesn’t mean that they are internet providers in my area. Rather than wasting a lot of time trying to figure out who services my neighborhood, I found a great website that provided links directly to the top providers. All I had to do was click on a link to check availability for companies like AT&T, Verizon and Qwest, and within moments I had a list of companies that provided service directly to my neighborhood. My next step was to determine what speed I would need to remain satisfied long-term with my broadband connection. The website also allowed me to view a side by side comparison chart of packages offered so that comparison shopping was greatly simplified. Read the rest of this entry »

They were all sure it was new plants or better fertilizer but it was the addition of the post caps!  That’s how well they transformed my garden. I would recommend them to anyone. Horse Jewelry with a Difference

I’ve been giving horse jewelry to my aunt and cousin for many years now (both of them are riders). But when I stumbled on this site, I had to take a closer look. These designs are not like any others I’ve seen. For one thing, at least to me, they really capture a personality. It’s not that they are particularly life-like and realistic, it’s just that they seem to talk to me I hope this makes sense! When I find silver jewelry with a unique quality about it, I try and grab it. Otherwise, life interferes with a million opportunities to forget. Read the rest of this entry »

Thoughtful, personalized gifts for the holidays

Nothing makes the holidays merrier than a thoughtful gift from one friend to another. We all appreciate the gift that shows just a little bit more effort. We all adore a gift that shows that the person who gave it to us really knows the ‘real’ us. Of course just about all women love jewelry. But give her a personalized jewelry item and she’ll get so excited! If she already has a lot of jewelry, get her a personalized jewelry box to place her fine items in. Trust me, she’ll love it.

For guys the buying is almost always easier. I like to find personalized shot glasses or perhaps a personalized pocket knife as ‘can’t miss’ choices. But sometimes I go with an engraved pen or business card holder if the man is highly focused on his career. Whichever the case, I like to shop for gifts at my favorite personalized gift idea store – Eye Candy Gift. They have loads to choose from.

Finally don’t overlook the value of hand made gift. These just may be the most treasured gifts of all. The person who gets a hand made gift knows you cared enough to spend the time to make the gift and love you all the more for that.

The European Hornbeam Bonsai is a Special Type of Tree

If you’re looking for an outdoor bonsai tree that’s a bit different from the ordinary, you may want to look at the European Hornbeam Bonsai. It is a more expensive bonsai tree, meaning you will probably only want to purchase a European Hornbeam Bonsai if you are an expert or if you are giving it to an expert bonsai grower. This is because the European Hornbeam, or carpinus betulus, is fairly rare. You won’t see it among the many outdoor bonsai trees that are regularly grown. However, those who do have one of these rare trees will often place them at the center of their gardens. Read the rest of this entry »

Silver Horse Earrings With Character

When I look for horse-lover gifts, I look for something that says “I really searched for something unique for you!” because for me personally, my equestrian niece is very special to me, and I want her to know how much I care about her and her interests. For the past few years, I’ve given her horse jewelry that I found online, but the ones she wears the most often are a whimsical pair I found on a site called the magic zoo. I thought they were adorable, but wasn’t sure what Kathy would think of them. You know how it can be buying jewelry for a young teenager! No need to have worried for more than a second about this though, because she is absolutely crazy about them. Read the rest of this entry »
