Fence Post Caps Top Off the Dream House
I have had the worst luck with fences until now. As far back as I can remember, even as far back as childhood, the fences that surrounded my home always had something wrong with them… either rotted, blew down, had slats missing, just was an eyesore to the property. Moving into my dream house this year, I decided to really take the time and put the money into my fence that is deserved. It’s a necessity for me because of my dogs. Now fences are an investment and I like to get the most out of my investments and in the case of this fence I want it to last. Using fence post caps was one option I decided on to extend the length of my fence since they protect the posts from rot.
I also spent some time looking at finials for the corners of the lot and the gateway. I’ve got to make it look pretty. There are so many finial options out there and it is such a cheap investment to add a little something extra to something that can be quite boring. I was able to order some finials that fit perfectly with the materials I had already installed. What a great addition to my dream house!
