Harbor At Morning Light Tapestry
Spanish painter Ramon Pijol was born in 1947 in the Catalán town of Olot. His formal study of art began at the same time as his academic studies, at the Escola de Belles Artes de Olot. There he was fortunate to study with some of the greatest Spanish masters of the time. He cites many influences on his style, primarily Manet and Monet, but it is clear he takes his greatest inspiration from the color and light found in nature. His painting, Harbor At Morning Light, is drenched with the luminescence and pastel colors of dawn. The sky and water are azure. The clouds reflect the colors of the sunrise. The white of the houses and boats seems lit from within and is dazzlingly reflected in the still water. This breathtaking painting can now be yours – in tapestry form. Hang the Harbor At Morning Light tapestry anywhere in your home and create a place of quiet inspiration.
